आज सुबह tv पर न्यूज़ सुनी। कह रहे थे कि आजकल कॉफिन्स की बिक्री बढ़ गयी है। फिर कहा कि कुछ देश अभी भी अपनी सीमांतों को लेकर लड़ रहे हैं। कुछ राजनैतिक तंज कसे जा रहे थे। एक चक्रवर्ती तूफान की तबाही का समाचार था। चिली में मज़दूर अपने हक के लिए लड़ते नज़र आये और भारत मे माइग्रेंट लेबर का हैशटैग देखा। इस उथल पुथल में बस एक ख़याल बार बार आता है…
सुना है
ताबूतों के बाजारों में
आज लम्बी कतारे हैं
सड़कों पर हैं छालों के निशाँ
दिलों पर लग चुके ताले हैं
तूफान अब चक्रवर्ती
और सम्राट हो गए हैं बेपरवाह
सरहदों की लकीरें
मचा रही हैं कोलाहल
बेकस सा बिखर रहा है
सब जो है साधारण
कैसा यह उपहास है
तू अब भी समझे
खुद को ख़ास है!
उसके इस आयोजन मे
तेरा इतना काम है
अमिट नही
सिर्फ ज़र्रा तेरा नाम है
फिर भी अहं को तू न भूले
मूर्ख देख तो कैसे नज़ारे हैं
ताबूतों के बाजारों में
आज लम्बी कतारे हैं
