Friends, after trying hard for one long year to find a place in Muse of the Month, a monthly short story writing contest held by Women’s Web, here is my story “Sister Stranger Saviour” that makes it to the annual anthology.
Woven around a prompt from Amanda Lovelace’s poem, do read it here.
Sister, Stranger, Saviour…
Happy reading!

Hi Liz
Thanks
It speaks of a time in the J and K valley when things had just started going awry and there was a mass exodus of a community of people. Just to put things into perspective.

I thought there must have been some local events that inspired and informed the story.

You could read about the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits in the 1990s
