किताबों की नौकरी!
विनोद बाबु किताबों पर पड़ी धूल झाड़ रहे थे। तीस सालों से शिमला की स्टेट लाइब्रेरी में लाइब्रेरियन थे पर आज उनका यहां आखिरी दिन था।
‘अगर एक महीने में आप एक भी मेंबर बना पाए तो हम लाइब्रेरी बंद नही करेंगे।’ ऐसा कहा था डायरेक्टर साहब ने।
पर इंटरनेट के ज़माने में किसे मेंबर बनाते। अब हारकर ताला लगा रहे थे।
‘सर् मैं कुछ किताबें लेना चाहता हूँ। क्या उसके लिए मेंबर बनना पड़ेगा?’
किसी ने पीछे से उन्हें पुकारा।
विनोद बाबू ने मुस्कुराते हुए दोनों दरवाज़े खोल दिए। आज वह और किताबें फिर नौकरी पर लगने वाले थे!
